4. "A great deal of condos don’t always provide ceiling lights," says Ms. Dimopolous. The arc lamp she utilized in the living-room is "the best alternative," adding a popof chrome while producing flexible lighting in the area. "It can be swung around as needed," she includes.

5. This tailored cream-toned sofa is a "throwback to a vintage modern-day feel," the designer states. Dark wood legs anddark accent cushions produce contrast, while "the artificial fur pillows include a textural element to the space, soyou do not have difficult lines all over," she mentions.

6. Playing off of the dark wood TV cabinet and the sofa’s dark accentpillows, this black faux leather chair adds morecontrast to the space. It’s not just design-savvy, though. "It’s got an convenience about it. You feel comfy sitting in it," Ms.Dimopolous says.
